Regan spends the night to baby sit her professor's daughter. During a major storm, she's curled up on the couch downstairs, unaware of the events occurring just over her head in the upstairs bedroom. With a giant lightning strike, the power in the house goes out. She awakens, retrieves a flashlight, and heads upstairs to calm a crying Irene. Awake and sitting up in bed, Irene tells Regan that she's scared of the sounds. Regan says that it's just thunder, the angels are bowling up in heaven and to go back to sleep. Regan focuses her attention on a squeaky door and is moved to inspect the closet and finds a doll’s head that has fallen from a shelf. Relieved, Regan heads back to comfort Irene who then pleads for her to look under the bed. Reluctantly, Regan complies and kneels down to get a look. Lifting the hanging bed covers, she discovers Irene beneath the bed, who points upwards and whispers - That's not me. In total shock, Regan recoils and looks back to the bed to find, a hideous woman with pure evil intention. It now becomes a terrifying race to escape the cursed house.
